UK Business Developer

Smarter Ecommerce (smec), is the market leader for paid search automation in the DACH region, has been operating from its London Farringdon office since late 2019. We are seeking a UK Business Developer, based in our centrally located London location.

Your tasks

  • Active prospecting of relevant client prospects in the UK online retail sector.
  • You desire to exceed your goals consistently, and contribute ideas, energy and innovation to the team and wider company in the execution of your goals.
  • You are responsible to sell smec products with determination and intelligence to relevant prospects.
  • You are developing product stories with available collateral, and connect these stories to demos and proposals.
  • Maintenance and growth of the company sales database.
  • You are responsible for organising relevant online and face to face meeting formats, with individuals and groups.
  • You are working with and developing commercial collateral with colleagues in marketing, product and customer account management.

Your profile

  • You successfully completed your studies (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, an online sales certification is a plus).
  • You have 3 years plus experience in B2B SaaS sales, or services/agency models with paid media products at the forefront and feel confident dealing with senior and medium level Tier A accounts, in a competitive space.
  • You are a person with a proven, verifiable track record in intelligent prospect hunting with growth results from UK online retailer contracts and are commercially minded.
  • You show advanced prospecting skills (content tagging, LinkedIn, etc.) and are strong in connecting with decision makers and influencers within target segments.
  • You have excellent communication and writing skills in English and another language (preferably German) and are recognised as a talented and articulate communicator.
  • You are self-organised and a mature self-starter who understands the essence of working with colleagues and teams to take the company forward every day.
  • You are willing to travel to the Austrian Headquarters (Onboarding, Meetings).

Für diese Position bieten wir dir ein attraktives Gehalt, das deiner Qualifikation und Erfahrung entspricht. Wir sind gesetzlich dazu verpflichtet, darauf hinzuweisen, dass ein KV-Mindestgehalt von EUR 2.518 brutto pro Monat gilt.
