Junior Sales Manager

Linz, full-time, m|f|d

As a Junior Sales Manager you will play an active role in fostering long-term relationships with the top 500 ecommerce companies in the DACH region. You will source new business and take care of adding their data to our CRM system, nurturing them carefully to become new smec clients. Furthermore, you have a keen sense for the needs of your prospects and the market itself. With your open-minded, communicative personality and sharp business thinking, you will manage to establish new contacts easily and bring value to them and to the growth of smec.

Your tasks

  • You are responsible to contact leads via LinkedIn, XING and other channels.
  • You identify the needs and goals of your contacts – by making (video) calls.
  • You foster long-term relationships with your clients through touchpoints and networking.
  • You discover all relevant information layers of the target company.
  • You qualify and deliver targeted prospect meetings – here the Senior Sales Manager will take over.
  • You are responsible for feeding our CRM system with all relevant data and make sure that data quality meets our expectations.
  • You have comprehensive product know-how and are able to create deep engagement with leads by highlighting the core value propositions of smec.
  • You keep yourself informed about the latest developments of our software products and the market.

Your profile

  • You have an academic degree (BA/MA) in Economics, Marketing, Sales, or similar.
  • You have at least two years of working experience or a proven track record of success – demonstrating that you have created meaningful change for you and the benefit of your company.
  • You are highly interested in online marketing and the latest digital trends.
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in German and English.
  • You love to create new business opportunities and gather business intelligence data.
  • You are capable of reacting fast, coping with unexpected situations and defending your point of view.
  • You are good with numbers and constantly demonstrate your advanced analytical skills.
  • You have a structured, proactive working style and prefer working on your own.
  • You feel joy and passion when you engage with business partners, potential clients and international colleagues.

We offer a minimum salary of EUR 2,518 for this position, adjusted to match your qualifications and experience.
