Junior UI/UX Designer (w|m|x)

Linz, Vienna, full-time

As Junior UI/UX Designer you create high-quality user interfaces and are intuitive with regard to usability. You act as an interface between product management and development – and we keep you involved in the design process, making you part of challenging and exciting projects.

Your tasks

  • You support the product team in the design process – from first sketch to high fidelity prototype and implementation.
  • You translate complex user requirements into high quality UI/UX designs for our software projects.
  • You find out what our users need and take care of user requirements – in coordination with our Product Owners and Developers.
  • You build up expertise in the field of user experience and conduct user research.
  • You keep developing our design system further together with our UX team and realise it with your designs.
  • You keep yourself informed about the latest developments and trends in the field of UI/UX design and are keen to expand your skills and deepen your knowledge.

Your profile

  • You are highly interested in product design – independent from your formal education.
  • You ideally have some experience in working as a UI/UX designer.
  • You have already worked with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma or other commonly used prototyping tools. Moreover, Photoshop and Illustrator aren’t completely new to you.
  • You have basic know-how in HTML-5, CSS and JavaScript.
  • You are excited about marketing automation and ecommerce.
  • You are creative, open-minded and eager for knowledge.
  • You work in a self-reliant and structured way.
  • You are good at English and speak some German.

For legal reasons, we refer to the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 2,556 (14 x per year) for this position. The actual salary depends on your qualification and experience, a willingness to overpay is given.
