Sales Manager

London, full time, m|w|d

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for directly selling our PPC software products Whoop! and AdEngine. You will actively develop, nurture and pitch identified leads with the goal of closing transactions with tier A clients that grow into profitable business for smec. In addition, you will offer customised product solutions, participate at events, guide client onboarding and be involved and contribute to all aspects of the sales process.

Your tasks

  • You identify business opportunities and potential leads/clients, and work with sales developers to guide these processes.
  • You contact leads actively – through a variety of channels (cold calling, e-mail, social media, fairs, events etc.)
  • You organise kick-off meetings and evaluate individualised sales strategies.
  • You analyse markets, competitors, opportunities and clients at regular intervals.
  • You present our core products including their features and provide an outlook regarding possible solutions.
  • You advance negotiations and take care of fulfilling the contract.
  • You offer strategic advice and further develop new and existing clients – together with our Customer Success Management teams.

Your profile

  • You have completed your education in Economics (university or similar).
  • You have 2 years of experience in selling – ideally in the software industry.
  • You are highly interested in online marketing and digital trends.
  • You are self-confident and know how to express yourself – in English, additional languages are definitely a plus.
  • You feel comfortable working with numbers and show great analytical skills.
  • You have a lot to offer, especially with regards to your persuasiveness, your assertiveness and your negotiation skills.
  • You just like working in an international team and enjoy dealing with clients.

We are offering an attractive salary between £35 - £45,000 per year for this position commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
