Senior Content Marketing Manager (m|f|d)

As Senior Content Marketing Manager you are driving smec’s content marketing activities at smec and independently plan projects with relevant stakeholders. Together with the Content Marketing team you create multimedia content that delivers sales and customer retention. In this central role, you act directly in the ecommerce industry and shape it.

Your tasks

  • You conceptualize and create written and multimedia content (e.g.: landing pages, emails, webinars, blog posts, case studies, infographics, etc.).
  • You translate expert knowledge into creative ideas through compelling copywriting and storytelling.
  • You ensure that all content is "on-brand", consistent in style, quality and tone – aligned with the relevant user experience and search strategy.
  • You are responsible for our SEO strategy and continuously develop our blog taking while taking SEO aspects into account (e.g. keyword analysis & enrichment).
  • You monitor and report regularly on content performance – using Google Analytics and other relevant reporting tools.
  • You create and manage our editorial calendar together with other departments.
  • You are actively involved in the development of the overall content marketing strategy (including the creation of buyer personas, content mix definition, etc.).
  • You work closely with our product and client teams to keep up to date with current trends and market developments.

Your profile

  • You gained at least 3 years of work experience in Content Marketing and in creating various types of multimedia content such as landing pages, blog posts, webinars, podcasts, videos, etc.
  • You have successfully completed your studies, ideally in marketing, journalism or a similar field.
  • You show a high affinity in terms of smec's field of activity – experience with SaaS, ecommerce and Online Marketing is a plus.
  • You are experienced in leading cross-departmental content projects of all sizes – from conception to successful closing.
  • You work with focus, can think editorially, and have a strong creative drive.
  • You can demonstrate professional proficiency with WordPress, Storyblok, etc. and SEO tools.
  • You have experience with all common social media platforms, especially Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram.
  • You convince with your social skills and are excited about being able to dig in with the Content Marketing Team.
  • You have business fluent proficiency in English and in German – French is a big plus.

For legal reasons, we refer to the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 2,556 (14x per year) for this position. The actual salary depends on your qualification and experience, a willingness to overpay is given.
