Vice President Marketing & Growth

As Vice President Marketing & Growth you are an experienced and passionate leader with a clear vision to build a scalable and efficient marketing machine that drives continuous growth. You will play a key role in the executive team, report directly to the COO and have complete ownership of all strategic and global marketing topics across business lines: SaaS software, managed services, consulting services, as well as corporate marketing and communications.

Your tasks

  • You develop the smec brand into a recognized leader in e-commerce automation and data connectivity.
  • You drive internal and external consistency of go-to-market strategies and communication.
  • You are involved in front-line execution and also operate at a strategic level to define new opportunities in international markets, assess product-market fit and tactically drive projects and deliverables to successful completion.
  • You generate revenues and increase sales through successful marketing – using state-of-the-art marketing frameworks.
  • You ensure the organization's message is distributed across channels and our target audiences enabling us to meet our ambitious company goals.
  • You act as the Corporate Voice of smec and thereby significantly shape our corporate identity.
  • You feel confident in dealing with common marketing tools (Google Analytics, Salesforce, Pardot, etc.) and know how to effectively use them.
  • You build and lead a best-in-class marketing team – including career planning and performance management.
  • You work in close cooperation with our Client Office and Product Department.

Your profile

  • You are a strategic thinker with at least 5 years of marketing leadership experience.
  • You are a dynamic leader with a proven track record in building, communicating and executing marketing plans.
  • You have a deep understanding and proven track record in B2B SaaS business.
  • You have a strong leadership presence and are excited about being able to dig in with a lean team.
  • You are data-driven and have the flexibility and resilience necessary to work in a fast-paced industry and know how to act in a start-up environment that is constantly experimenting with new approaches and new ways of working.
  • You have first-rate project management, teamwork, interpersonal and relationship management skills, and are comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization and with clients, prospects, partners, influencers and analysts.
  • You are a structured thinker with excellent written and oral communication skills – in German and English.

The annual gross salary for this position is € 75.000 – depending on your experience and qualification.
